THE VERY BEST IN TROPHY BLACK BASS FISHING IN MEXICO!!!

Lake Comedero is a beautiful mountain lake nestled in the Sierra Madre Mountains

Located 100 miles northeast of the seaside resort of Mazatlan, Mexico. The lake was once known for it’s sheer numbers of bass but now it’s become one of the best trophy bass lakes in the world. Many consider it THE BEST. In 2002, Ray Newman of Oklahoma landed a 19lbs giant. Currently that is the lake record. However, there have been several more bass landed over 16lbs. The real catch with Comedero is the vast number of bass landed each season from 8 – 12lbs and the fact that many are caught on topwater lures. That’s right, TOPWATER! The lake is also one of the most scenic lakes you will ever fish. There are few boats on the lake due to it’s remote location. This lake, being 30,000+ acres at full pool and having very little fishing pressure, is certain to continue producing big bass for many, many years.

The fishing boats are NEW!

Xpress boatsThese boats will be used for the first time beginning November 2007. They are 18’ Xpress SV18 bass boats and are the nicest in all of Mexico! Each boat will be equipped with large front and back fishing decks,  powerful trolling motors, depth/fish sonar, padded seats, rod boxes, ice chests/drinks, life jackets and marine radios. The best trophy bass lake with the best fishing boats!

Our clients stay at Comedero Bass Club which is  a small quaint lodge reflective of the true “Old Mexico” style and is located 2 miles from the water’s edge. The camp consists of four houses that contain four completely private air-conditioned bedrooms. Purified bottled water is furnished in each house and is completely safe to drink. After a great day of fishing, you are welcomed to the camp with complimentary margaritas and hors d’oeuvres. The menu consists of a variety of foods. Breakfast offers fresh fruits, hot biscuits, bacon, eggs, pancakes, hash browns, coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. Lunch is at the lake and shore-style consisting of fresh fish fillets, fried potatoes and all of the trimmings. Dinner offers a menu of grilled tender steaks, fresh shrimp and lobster from the nearby Pacific as well as a Mexican dinner one night with a variety of vegetables. The camp offers satellite t.v. so you don’t have to worry about missing your favorite sports team.

Comedero Bass Club capacity is 24. Advanced reservations are an absolute MUST!

El Salto Camp 1Lake El Salto is located 50 miles north of Mazatlan, Mexico. El Salto, much like Comedero, produces a good number of trophy sized bass each season. While Comedero offers a better chance at a trophy bass in excess of 10 pounds, El Salto generally produces a few more numbers each day. El Salto offers the novice angler the opportunity to catch a lot of fish most days without a lot of effort. These boats were made to endure the heavy cover and rocks that are abundant on El Salto.

The fishing boats at Club El Salto are 17’ fiberglass bass boats with a large fishing deck on the front of boat. Each boat offers powerful trolling motors, padded swivel seats, ice chest/drinks, life jackets and radios.

Our clients stay at Club El Salto, which is located at the water’s edge on the lake. One minute from bed to boat! This beautiful camp is a favorite with anglers due to it’s proximity to the lake. The camp consists of 5 houses plus a restaurant overlooking beautiful Lake El Salto. The houses have two private bedrooms with an adjoining shower/bath combination. The restaurant has a large 20-ft indoor aquarium stocked with trophy bass exceeding 10lbs from the lake. You will also be able to keep up with your favorite sports team at Club El Salto as it, like Comedero Bass Club, offers satellite t.v.

Club El Salto offers the same menu as that of Comedero Bass Club. You are certain to not leave hungry!

Mazatlan offers great entertainment and is a wonderful place to unwind from several days of fishing. However, if you didn’t get your fill of fishing at Comedero or El Salto, we can arrange for a day or two of great Marlin and Sailfish action out of Mazatlan. We offer both Comedero and El Salto as individual packages as well as the saltwater fishing but also can package a combo of both lakes PLUS a triple header with the saltwater fishing.
